housework.............degrading???

Is that so ?Life goes on the way you think of it. If you say "I am an unlucky person" then life brings you misfortune .

For jobs the same thing is true .If housework is considered degrading ,it becomes degrading .Then ,every time you want to do it you become tired and nervous .Because you consider it degrading and doing such work is beneath your dignity.

All jobs are important and valuable. If they were not important there was no need for their existence .House work shows how much one love her family members . Since without getting money she does her best .Then ,all the family gain is LOVE . There is love in food ….

So respect women for what they do without any expectation .

Long life house work…

norooz

Spring, spring ,spring !!! How much beauty does God send us through. Spring is nature's rebirth . And we Iranian celebrate this rebirth .Norooz is the name …

The symbol of Norooz is sofreyeh-haft-sin .It contains 7 things which their names start with letter S (sin in Persian). Sir(garlic),somagh(sumac) , sib(apple) ,sonbol(hyacinth), sekkeh (coin),serkeh (vinegar) and sabzeh (grassplot ).Also mirror, the holy Koran, colored eggs ,candle and red fish are located in sofreyeh-haftsin.

For Iranian Norooz is everything .No ceremony is comparable with it . Spring's arrival is celebrated for 13 days. (From 20th of March up to 3rd of April We do a lot through these days .At the moment of spring's arrival the family sit around the sofreyeh-haft-sin(which now has become haft-sin-table!!! ), and pray. Then the most interesting parts happens . Yes, YOU RECEIVE YOUR GIFTS

Since the holiday is long many go on trips, specially those who live in Tehran, to get rid of air pollution . Through this days we visit our relatives and they do the same . On the 13th day called" Sizdahbedar " people go on picnic.

Norooz in a different place

This Norooz I found a new land for spending the first minutes of spring's arrival. I used to think all Iranian spend their first minutes of the new year around haft-sin in their houses…

There are moments in which we are so happy but at the same time many are crying. Some celebrate their Norooz some are at their families' graves ,some at hospital …

Although it was10:00 pm ,but the cemetery was crowded .Many people had arranged their haft-sin on their families' graves, waiting for spring to come…

…and it came and we all hope this year will be a nice one.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
